Pasarea, the Nun Monastery

Founded in 1813, this Nun Monastery benefited from massive restorations in 1967. Its museum houses royal donations, gospels and books from the 19th century, many icons and Gheorghe Anghel’s carved busts of two Romanian personalities: painter Theodor Pallady and poet Mihai Eminescu.
